what is the Microneedling Pen?

A microneedling pen is a handheld device that uses tiny needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin. This process, called percutaneous collagen induction therapy (PCIT), triggers the body's natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production.

How long is the downtime for the Microneedling Pen?

Microneedling Pen Aftercare Instructions:

Downtime:

• Minimal redness and swelling for the first few days.  

• Return to normal activities the next day.

Aftercare Instructions:

• Avoid sun exposure.  

• Avoid using skin care products.  

• Avoid jacuzzi and hot water showers for 5 days.

• Avoid intense exercises.  

• Use sunscreen with zinc 9% or more.

• Use moisturizing lotion with SPF 50.

• Wash face with normal tap water for 5 days.

• For dry and oily skin, contact us for specific care instructions.

Is the Microneedling Pen painful?

Microneedling RF is not painful because we numb the area of the treatment. 

 

Who cannot get the Microneedling Pen treatment?

• history of herpes simplex infection  

• Keloid scarring  

• Poorly controlled diabetes

• Autoimmune disease  

• Skin cancer

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
